Yoga is the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind.
Nandram Yoga Center brings the eight-limbed path of the Patanjali Yoga Darshan into everyday practice — classical asana and pranayama, yoga therapy for chronic pain and stress, and a slow, steady route back to balance.
A traditional school, shaped for the way we live now.
Founded on the teachings of Maharishi Patanjali, our approach treats yoga as a complete science of the body, breath and mind — not a workout. Every batch opens with breath, moves through asana with attention to alignment, and closes in stillness.
Alongside our classical batches, our yoga therapy and wellness track works with people managing back pain, anxiety, hypertension, thyroid conditions and post-injury recovery, guided by instructors trained in therapeutic adaptation.

The Yoga Sutras describe a gradual path — Ashtanga Yoga — from ethical grounding to absorption. We teach it in that order, not just the postures.
Ethical restraints and observances — the foundation before the mat.
Steady posture and breath control — where most classes begin.
Withdrawal of the senses — turning attention inward.
Concentration — holding the mind on a single point.
Meditation — sustained, unbroken awareness.
Absorption — union with the object of meditation.
Practice as medicine, not just movement.
Our wellness track adapts classical technique for real conditions — chronic back and knee pain, anxiety and insomnia, thyroid and PCOS management, post-surgical recovery, and prenatal care. Sessions are small, and sequences are built around your body, not a fixed routine.
Every therapy plan begins with a one-on-one assessment before you join a group batch or continue individually.

Small, attentive batches
Every batch stays small enough for an instructor to correct alignment individually, class after class.
Sutra-grounded teaching
Each technique is tied back to where it sits on Patanjali's eight-limbed path — not taught in isolation.
Therapy-trained instructors
Every teacher is trained to adapt sequences for real conditions, not just lead a general flow.
